In 2019 Construction Solutions is introducing their new DBX1017FR metal dryer vent box. It meets the IRC and IMC codes for a 1-hour through penetration firestop system.
The new and inexpensive DBX1017FR metal dryer vent box is powder coated white to match the washer box. The box is 10″ wide by 17″ tall and designed to fit in a 2″ x 6″ framed wall. The DBX1017FR also does not require a trim ring.
